Kee Soo Sohn, 64, of Champaign passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010. He was born in Seoul, Korea on May 12, 1946. Kee worked at Burnham City Hospital/Provena Covenant Medical Center as a pharmacist for 31 years and acted as the official Korean translator for patients at the hospital. He served as an elder at the Korean Church of Champaign-Urbana. He was a pillar in the local Korean community by helping those in need. All who shared his love of life will dearly miss him.

He is survived by wife, Eunhee, daughters Angela, Jenny, and, Mary, son-in-law, Brian, grandson, Noah, parents, Jong Mook and Kyung Ja, brother, Keon Soo, and sister, Myung Hee.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, Aug  25 at the Morgan Memorial Homes located at 1304 Regency Dr W in Savoy. A funeral service will be held at the Korean Church of Champaign-Urbana, located at 608 W. Green in Urbana, at 10 am on Thursday, Aug 26, with Rev. Dale Robb officiating. Burial will be at Windridge Memorial Park & Nature Sanctuary in Cary, IL.
